We arrange hospital visits in four cities: Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Xi'an. They are equals on this site. None is a headquarters you must visit. None is a default for TCM, checkups, or second opinions. If you are already in one of the four, stay there unless the specialty truly is not available.
City follows the condition and the calendar. A short checkup can sit in any of the four, often nearest to your flight. Dental and some specialist reviews cluster where the clinician and the imaging calendar actually open — frequently Beijing or Shanghai, not as a rule of prestige but as a rule of slots. Multi-day TCM or pain protocols can be staffed in any of the four; Xi'an is one option, not the title of the trip.
Already in China? Tell us the city and the date. Moving you to another city for a routine visit wastes a visa-free day and a hotel night. We escort with a local interpreter in the city of care. We do not fly a single team around the country as a tour.
Not yet in China, and no city preference? Say so on the free inquiry (“recommend for me”). We will weigh specialty, likely hospital type (public international desk versus private), stay length, and your inbound airport. We will not pick Xi'an because it photographs well, and we will not pick Beijing because it is the capital.
Two-city stays are possible when the case needs them — for example a specialist review in one city and a protocol in another. They are written around the medicine and the flights, not sold as a fixed east-then-west package. Heritage or rest days, if you want them, are add-ons after medical days, in whichever city you are actually in.
Other cities: we evaluate. We do not list places we cannot staff with a medical interpreter and a realistic booking path. If we cannot take another city on your dates, we will say so in logistical terms and, if we still take the Remote Plan, you keep the written pathway.
Practical differences you can plan around without turning them into folklore: Beijing and Shanghai have more private English-friendly campuses and more inbound flights. Guangzhou is a strong regional air hub. Xi'an is a full tertiary and TCM city, not a side trip. Airports: PEK/PKX, PVG/SHA, CAN, XIY. Hotels we book sit twenty to thirty minutes from the hospital of that stay, not next to a monument.
